Hagens Berman Jayco is proud to welcome Jasper Verbrugge, one of Belgium’s most promising young riders, to the team for the 2026 season. Known for his strength in the classics and stage races alike, Verbrugge brings an impressive resume and a fearless racing style that fits perfectly within HBJ’s development philosophy.
Verbrugge has already shown his potential with stage wins and podiums across Europe, including a stage victory and 2nd overall at the Jugendrundfahrt Oberösterreich, a stage win and 4th GC at the Vuelta a los Valles Cántabros, and podium finishes at Gent-Wevelgem and Romsée-Stavelot–Romsée. He also impressed with 7th at E3 Saxo Classic and 13th at Paris–Roubaix, confirming his ability to handle some of the sport’s toughest races.
“I feel very honoured to join HBJ next year,” said Verbrugge. “In the upcoming years I will develop myself in this professional, experienced environment. When I started cycling, I could just dream of this opportunity…now I will prove it!”
