The Hagens Berman Axeon Cycling Team continues to compile a stellar roster for the 2024 season with the signing of Adam Holm Jørgensen. Adam joins the Axeon squad from BHS - PL Beton Bornholm.

“It’s a big honor [to join Hagens Berman Axeon],” said Adam. “Probably the best development team over the last couple of years. Looking forward to joining teammates from all over the world and becoming teammates with one of my best lads, Kasper [Anderson]. That’s going to be pretty special.”

Adam’s Palmares:
2023 Tour de l'Avenir (stage 3) - 1st place
2022 Gent-Wevelgem - 4th place
2022 Tour de l'Avenir (stage 3) - 1st place
2022 Tour de l'Avenir (stage 4) - 2nd place
2022 National Championships Denmark MU ITT - 2nd place

The 21-year-old from Copenhagen, Denmark considers himself an all-arounder, “with a strength in the longer races, but can also time-trial well,” he said. “I also think I’m a pretty good road captain; I’m not afraid of making a decision.”

For 2024, Adam hopes to focus on going for victories as he “misses the winning feeling,” he said. “I also want to become a better human being, learn different cultures, and try to live the ‘professional cycling life’ even more.”

“Adam has been a stagiaire with Jayco Allula and has shown he has what it takes to be a good WorldTour rider,” said team owner and director Axel Merckx. “He still needs a bit of fine tuning in order to make the move up and can get this with our structure, the right advice, and a solid program.”

Adam is the tenth rider announced to the 2024 Hagens Berman Axeon Cycling Team after Ben Wiggins, Hamish McKenzie, Mattia Sambinello, Adam Rafferty, Samuele Privitera, Evan Boyle, Darren Parham, Matthew Cole, and Bizaye Redae.
