Axeon Hagens Berman continues adding to it’s 2018 roster with the signing of the 2017 USA Cycling Junior Road Race Champion, Cole Davis.

“It’s an honor to be invited to race on the Hagens Berman Axeon team,” Davis said. “Not very many riders get the opportunity to be a part of such a great program and it feels good to know that people believe in me and trust that I belong there.”

In addition to Davis’ 2017 National Championship, the eighteen-year-old Folsom, California native was 2nd during stage 2 at the 2017 SPIE Internationale Junioren Diedaagse and 5th overall on GC, as well as 4th place on stage 1 of the 2017 Junior Peace Race (Course de la Paix Juniors).

For Axeon, the signing of Davis means not only adding another top individual talent, but adding one who seeks to be a part of the process and the team as a whole. “Every rider and director associated with the team has tons of knowledge and unique experiences that I look forward to learning from and continuing my development alongside them,” remarked Davis.

Davis is the second rider added to the Hagens Berman Axeon 2018 roster after Dutch rider Maikel Zijlaard was announced in early July.
