The Axeon Hagens Berman Cycling Team's roster for Saturday's Under 23 Liège-Bastogne-Liège includes two riders who have already scored victories in Europe this season.

Ruben Guerreiro won G.P. Palio del Recioto in March and Tao Geoghegan Hart captured Trofeo Piva in April. Geoghegan Hart has also finished third at this race the past two years.

"Tao has been successful here already because it is a tough course and it requires a lot of endurance," Axeon Hagens Berman General Manager Axel Merckx said. "He will be a favorite for sure, but we have a strong team and I hope the depth of our team will be our major asset."

Joining Geoghegan Hart of Great Britain and Guerreiro of Portugal on Axeon's six-man roster are Americans Will Barta and Logan Owen and a pair of Under 23 national road champions, Eddie Dunbar of Ireland and Krists Neilands of Latvia.

"We have a very strong team here and will look to utilize this depth during the race," Geoghegan Hart said. "This is one of my favorite races of the year."

Nearly three dozen teams will line up for the 182-kilometer Belgian race that starts in Bastogne and ends in Ans. It features nine designated climbs, including the Côte de La Redoute, the Côte de la Roche aux Faucons and the Côte de Saint-Nicolas - all popularized by the professional version of the Ardennes classic.

"It is basically a mini version of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, where the only difference is the mileage," Merckx said.

Under 23 Liège-Bastogne-Liège Roster (April 16):

Riders: Will Barta (USA), Eddie Dunbar (IRE), Tao Geoghegan Hart (GBR), Ruben Guerreiro (POR), Krists Neilands (LAT), Logan Owen (USA). Sport Director: Axel Merckx (BEL).
