Daniel Moreira Wins Stage 3 of Volta a Portugal do Futuro on Home Soil
Portugal’s own Daniel Moreira delivered a special performance on home roads, taking victory on Stage 3 of the Volta a Portugal do Futuro while proudly wearing the Portuguese U23 National Champion jersey.
For Moreira, the win carried far more meaning than just another result. Racing in front of home fans and crossing the line first in Portugal made the moment one of the most emotional victories of his young career.
“Winning here in Portugal, wearing the national champion jersey, makes this victory even more special to me. Taking Stage 3 on home soil is a moment I’m really proud of and one I will remember for a long time. I felt strong in the final and gave everything to finish it off. This victory is also dedicated to my teammate Samuele Privitera. He is always with us, and today I was thinking about him at the finish line. It’s a great feeling and a big motivation for what’s coming next.”
The victory marks another strong result for the team and a memorable day for Moreira as he continues to build momentum this season.
