Hagens Berman Jayco is proud to welcome rising Australian talent Fergus Browning to the squad for the 2025 season. The 21-year-old from Melbourne joins the team after an impressive string of results on the U23 circuit, including a standout performance at the Tour Down Under where he claimed the King of the Mountain jersey.
A late addition to the roster, Browning wasted no time getting up to speed at the team’s pre-season training camp.
“After getting a late opportunity to sign with Hagens Berman Jayco, I’m very grateful and excited to get the year going,” Browning said. “Starting at team camp, it was nice to meet everyone and understand how professional and motivated the team is.”
Fergus—known as “Ferg” to friends and teammates—brings both climbing firepower and time trial depth to the team. In 2024, he won a stage at the Tour de l’Ain and was crowned U23 National Road Champion in Australia. He also finished third on a stage at Ronde de l’Isard and took silver in both the ITT and Road Race at the 2025 U23 National Championships.
He will make his official race debut with Hagens Berman Jayco at the Circuit des Ardennes, taking place from April 9 to 13.
With his blend of race-winning instinct and work ethic, the team sees Fergus as a key part of its continued focus on developing all-around riders for the professional level.
We’re excited to have him in Hagens Berman Jayco colors this season and can’t wait to see what he brings to the road.
