Adam Rafferty delivered a standout 2025 campaign, firmly establishing himself as one of the top U23 riders in the world. Already recognized for his elite time trial ability, Rafferty took a major step forward by converting that strength into road race success, including a landmark victory at the Giro d’Italia Next Gen.

Rafferty’s evolution into a more complete stage racer was a defining theme of his season, showing improved climbing, positioning, and tactical awareness in high-pressure races.
“Adam had an exceptional season,” said Axel Merckx. “He is obviously world class in the time trial, but what impressed us most was how much he has grown as a road racer. He is learning how to win bike races, and that is a big step in a rider’s career.”
