Setting the tone for the season, the Hagens Berman Jayco Cycling Team announced its first signing of 2025 with Junior World Record holder and Australian National Champion, Wil Holmes. Wil joined the HB Jayco squad from ARA Skip Capital.

"I'm super excited to join Hagens Berman Jayco next year," said Wil. "It's a team I've loved watching while growing up and I love the way the team races!"

The 18-year-old Adelaide native considers his strengths to be in time trials (especially shorter ones like prologues) and "hilly road races with short to medium punchy climbs," he said. "For next season, I'd like to improve on longer climbs, which will help me be able to focus on better GC results."

"Wil's accomplishments, including his junior record in the individual pursuit and national title in the time trial, speak volumes to what he brings to the team," said team owner and director Axel Merckx. "We are very much looking forward to having him on board."
