The path that Edward Anderson took to reach the Hagens Berman Axeon Cycling Team took him from the rough-and-tumble single track of mountain biking to the smooth ribbon of highway that is domestic road racing.
Now in his third year on the team, Anderson continues to the family environment that is the balance to a demanding racing calendar. “Whether we’re out on ride, at a meal, or at a race, we share the same passion and it really brings us together as a team and as a family,” he said. Anderson is hoping to take everything he learned in his first two years as a U23 rider and work with his teammates to make bigger impacts this season.
“For 2019, I'm looking forward to spending time with amazing teammates, our uber-supportive staff, our great sponsors, and of course racing,” said Anderson. “This team is amazing and provides an unparalleled foundation for success. I'm excited for everything that the year will bring. Muhammad Ali said it well, ‘don't count the days; make the days count.’”
