The 2016 USA Cycling national road championships will go down as one of Jonny Brown's most memorable moments.
"It is the first year we have dominated and it will be talked about for years to come," he said. "My dad (David Brown) actually directed the team at nationals a couple years ago when Tanner Putt won the Under 23 national title. That was just a big shock. But last year, we knew we would do well. But we didn't think we were going to go 1-2-3-4-5-6-7."
The younger brother of former Axeon rider Nathan Brown – who is now in his second year with the team – said he aims to make the U.S. national team that heads to the world championships in Norway.
"I want to win some races and show that I am ready to be at worlds. I think the course suits me."
