Zeke's Story

Words: Chad Childers Stripes Date: 10 March 2018

Zeke 1

“I remember being a scrawny, 14-year-old at my first Junior National Championship in Bend, Oregon, when I saw guys like Lawson Craddock and Nate (Brown) racing the U23 Road Race,” said Mostov when recollecting his first memory of the program. “I never thought I’d be associated with the team other than maybe asking for an autograph.”

Now Mostov is a full-fledged rider with the team he never imagined being a part of. He paved his way by making improvements in his riding each and every year. In 2017, Mostov won the Porsche Thunderbird Race, placed 2nd in the Mountains Classification at the Tour of Alberta, and placed 3rd in the Youth Classification at the Cascade Cycling Classic.

In 2018, Mostov hopes to be more consistent all-around throughout the season, be there in the sprints whether lead out or sprinting himself, and wants to continue being a great teammate and “selling himself out whenever he can for his teammates.”
